V for Vendetta Storyboard
A large part of my Drawing II course involved learning how to storyboard a sequence and find the most important frames to illustrate in that sequence. This section of the course culminated in storyboarding a sequence from a film of our choice in a different medium.
The final image is an intricate work that reflects the unsettling and disorienting tone of the original sequence. The collection of objects within the gallery are usually reduced to abstract forms of light and shadow within the background, allowing the viewer to understand the confusion being felt by the character Evey. The disparity between light and darkness present within both the characters and their surroundings aids in clearly identifying which is which, creating an effective series of images that display a clear progression through the scene.
